The point I was making is that this project cant be all that serious if the thread starter is making serious decision's regarding the project on the basis of disagreeing with other's in the thread.
If I wanted to do something I would do it,I dont need the approval of a bunch of people that I have never met.

I have just read the whole thread and this is what I have deduced:
A 17 year old school kid is dreaming about building a muscle car and has started a thread to look for support for his fantasy.
Several members who have had a lot of experience with both older and newer modified cars inclucing the actual costs and engineering difficulties involved have attemped to give advice only to be rubuked and attacked buy the thread starter and other "theory gurus".
