Not bad at all, it has very good torque for this capacity.

But it's roots don't go back to the 60's. It has nothing in common with the old "Windsor", apart from the displacement, the vee, and 8 cylinders. It's also made in Windsor.

Deck height and bore spacings are all that it has in common with the Modular 4.6, which was introduced in 1991. Apart from that it's all-new.
