I've spent a bit of time around bowls clubs in my time.
I'd be more worried about old, over confident drivers that drink several (or more) beers before leaving on a Saturday night.
I knew a bloke that was well into his 80s, he drank like a fish and always drove himself home.

I don't know any P platers that do this.
