Iv had premmy sound in my BA1 XR and BF2 GT-P, both cars I bought new, and I still swear to this day the BA1 unit pumped and sounded better..
I was happy with the prem sound in my BA, but never really happy with the BF. My "bum in the seat" feeling was the BA premmy sound was better..

My AU XR was a non prem sound car, I bought and fitted all the componants to update it to factory Prem sound and am driving that all via an older single din Pioneer MP3 headunit, and the sound is pretty darn good.. Enough for me to be happy enough with it as is for now..
