I have owned at least 10 TC / TD Cortys in my time... And modified all of them.
2V 250's all the way up to my last one which was a nice TC XL 250 T-bar, in copper bronze. One owner 90,000 mile original minter.
It quickly got transformed into a 302, Top Loader, 9 Inch combo.
Ran 13.3 @ 99.99 Mph back in 1991 (2.75 diff gears), as I'm a top end freak.
I will throw up some pics one day if there's interest.
My all time favorite video of decent well sorted Cortina's / Falcon's
has to be this one. It's quite old, but the music that these things make is smile worthy.. Coulda been in a better location, sure, but hey, it's what we USED to do... and get away with it.
