I love Wanneroo. But our council is notoriously corrupt and inept. STILL has ties to Brian Burke.
It got so bad in the 90's, that all the businesses in what was then OUR new commercial district of Joondalup, lobbied the Liberals to sack the council, and carve out all the rich bits into a new City of Joondalup. Then left the rest of us to put up with same corrupt and incompetent ****ers.

And it get worse. Our former Mayor, who was the mos corrupt, dishonest, and miserable sack of shit imaginable, is now our Federal Member.

That's all local councils are, breeding ponds for wannabe dishonest members of parliament.
