Default Do car makers fit different air cons when they build similar vehicles?

So my question is this:
A car maker builds three different vehicles on the same architecture:
A two seater ute , a family wagon and an upmarket luxury vehicle.
All have the same chassis , engine etc but different bodies and all are different colours. The ute is white the wagon is red and the luxobarge is black.

Would the maker fit say an uprated air con to the luxury car and a basic one to the ute and family wagon?

Clearly the heat gain for the white ute will be less than the black luxury sedan with the red wagon somewhere in between.

Anyone know for sure?

Peter.
