Default Good ford mechanics in SE melb

Does anyone know a good ford mechanic that does performance engine work in south east melbourne? Im located in Edithvale and was just wondering if someone has had good work done nearby. I recently bought a restored xc fairmont with a rebuilt 351 cleveland thats got a carby leak and was looking to get roller rockers installed among other things. Any info would be appreciated thanks.

Mick at Pit Lane Automotive in Frankston is always a pleasure to deal with.
He has a boss V8 ute, along with a BB old school Fairlane so he know his performance stuff no matter what the vintage.
My family and friends have all had good experiences when dealing with him.

CVE is not bad mate, but if you want to do it properly dont just let the location choose the builder...

Default Re: Good ford mechanics in SE melb

Hello,
I'm desperate for a good Ford Specialist Mechanic down in South East Melbourne.

I have a ford El Sedan 96 running on Dual Fuel & have a problem with my Tachometer fluctuating and loss of pick up coupled with rough vibration & intermitent misfiring.

Just for anyone info, I have changed the coil, distributor,Cylinder head,Transmission, spark plugs & leads.

I have shown 5 different mechanics & an Auto Technician who cannot seem to diagnose the fault.

Please can someone help

Thanks,
