This is Victoria, they like to keep you guessing and they are occasionally a bit slow to send them out.

After 2 months I'd be letting out a sigh of relief.

You'd think that they would have some kind of a time limit to which the fines need to be issued... I mean on average it takes about 3 to 5 weeks to receive a fine in Vic (from my experience). It's just too bloody long. If you go past a (one) fixed camera every day at less than 10km over the speed limit (for 3 weeks), thats 21 demerrit points and over $3000 worth of fines. And this could all be due to your spedo being out by a few kms. Also wouldn't the government want people to drive more safely (considering that the position of the cameras are supposed to be related to the high incident areas)?

I really do feel sorry for you guys in Vic. I can go past an 80 fixed camera with my speedo showing 90 and know that I'm still safe (not that I make a practice of it...)

don't know about Vic but in NSW an infringement must be issued within 6 months of the offence

In my experience usually 7-14 days, a bit longer at holiday times

Are you the owner? Fines are sent to the owner, then owner responds with drivers details, then they get reissued to driver, this can slow things up a bit
I have had one bouncing back and forward four times because I didn't put the guys address on it, he was an ex employee that moved to Melbourne, so I wrote that, not allowed, was told to put his old address on there even though I KNOW for certain he does not live there anymore.

the back log will eventually catch up with you..

My ex had the dpi knock on the door due to an accident he had while driving without a licence.. it was more than 12mnths prior...

I once waited over 3 mnths for a fine back in 99'...
