I had to Lol at this comment...
"...at least now this BMW M5 is unique and it's the only competitor to the Holden that is also down under (which btw, is coming out as a Pontiac here in the states)." Ignorant idiots... :P Looks nice though, the gloss black and average pictures make it had to pick out the detail in the body mods though...

That is an absolute stunner of a ute! Look mean and very sporty for a german ute. If BMW make ute into production they would sell heaps...can you just imagine the possiblty. :ticking:

Damn that looks good. It's such a neat and tidy conversion. If that came out of the Bavarian Motor Works factory it certainly wouldn't look like they did a half arsed job.

All it needs is a bullbar, spotties, 76 aerials, truck mudflaps and a roll bar.
Edit: And a Mack dog. |

Is it just me or does the rear tail light treatment look like an FG ute?
Awesome conversion, although I can't help but think "VS Commodore ute" with the way the C pillar is set up.

That last image on the OP's link certainly redefines a "strut brace". It's massive!
Btw, Peuty, utes don't have C-Pillars. Only A's and B's (despite how the rear "quarter-glass" is configured). I definately do agree with you about the VS Maloo plastic extension on said pillar though. Also, I'm glad there's no spoiler!

Our FPV ute has done about 3 trips to the tip, never carried hay bales or bags of cement so therefore must be a waste of time as a ute. I think it looks fantastic and would be a hoot to drive, very tail happy though. I love the overal look, fits in with the factory design elements of the BMW. The hard lid is awesome, carbon fibre construction and an awesome aluminium hinge set up. Where can I buy one, please Some people love the look of a hot ute (like Tori and I) even though they do not use it as one. In fact if there weren't people like us there would not be enough of a market for utes such as Pursuit/Super Pursuit/XR 8/XR 6T/XR6/SS/Maloo etc because not enough tradies buy them to make the development financially viable. The sport utes are too compromised in design and too expensive for serious commercial use, who would want to spend $65k on a ute that is going to get trashed on building sites? It's not as if the fPV utes with hard cover are so usable as a ute, can't even carry a large esky upright.
