The only vehicles that get build numbers are true tickford ones like the TE and TS50.

So theres no chance of finding out what number she rolled off the factory line then, only the number that was made in that model!

Do not think there is anything, even with the GT's you can order the number of the car.

The FPV and T series cars are numbered individually but as posted earlier you could ask for a particular number. I know there was only 3 TL50T3's built and one has the number 147. However a call to ford CRC will tell you all the info they have on any ford built since about 1969 if you can supply them with proof of ownership and the chassis number they can confirm what it had when it left the assembly line, after that who knows whats been done to them so if your XAGT has a toploader and ford CRC says it was an auto in 1972 when it rolled out obviously its not a factory 4 speed. If you check my sig I have 2 numbered cars this info is on my (FPV, fte) build plates as a build number and the total number built was obtained thru ford CRC.

Even the GT build numbers are not done in order i belive, which makes the whole idea fairly pointless.
