Can glass tiles, as in splash back mats commonly used for kitchens, be cut using conventional methods (score and snap) or do I need a wet saw.

Angle grinder with diamond blade cutter.
I'm a builder not a tiler so would still appreciate a tiler's response. But most tilers I know are Korean...so might need to post this on Ssangyong forum .com.au |

I'm a tiler and yes you can cut it by scoring and snapping it with a sigma tile cutter or similar
You have to remember that you have to leaver the tile while trying to snap it You don't hit it and crack it as it will shatter or break not straight Also you need to use the right adhesive for glass tiles

The tile cutter must be big enough to have the whole sheet laid flat so the mosaic doesn't move around while your scoring it
That's why I use the sigma tile cutter so the 300 x 300 sheet lays flat I would try one sheet first and experiment Can you post a photo of the mosaic and the tile cutter? If it's only for a splash back I would use abamastic premixed adhesive That way the adhesive will hold the tile up for you and it won't sag

The glass mosaic is yet to be chosen by the boss, I've only just installed the new stove and carcasses, bench top and tassie oak ordered (I'm making the raised panel doors) so choosing tiles are next, whether I can handle them will be a decision as to purchase.
My cutter can accept the 300 tiles easily (laid 300mm sq floor tiles for a friend not that long ago), I just wasn't sure about cutting these glass one's, never used them before. I've made a note of the name of the adhesive so I can buy that at the same time, much appreciated.
