Saw a show the other night which touched on this car and thought my fellow Ford fans would appreciate such an awesome machine.
It was a sort of promotional car - the US Army used to throw it on a ship and take it to various theatres of war to show the boys what they were fighting for. It was a 1970 mustang with a supercharged 429 boss, paid for with FoMoCo cheque book... fabled to be good for around 1200hp. Parachutes, radiator in the 'trunk'... all the good stuff. Pics and info: http://www.orlandomustang.com/70boss429.htm http://www.stangcity.com/showphoto.p...ort/1/cat/3034 2 were made... unfortunately one of them copped a shipping crate during transport http://www.ponysite.de/lawman4.htm Anyone got more light to shed on this beast?? I'd never even heard of it before.

130US is a fair bit of dosh for a car, especially when a new stang costs around 25k. That aside. It's a bloody ugly car. But hey, with 1200 HP I wouldn't car what it looks like! Very nice ride!
