Default Comments on weekend car

hey guys...Im buying something to run around during the week maybe a RB30 manual skyline or something...RWD so i can still get sidewards....THEN when i get a bit more money i want a manual 351 falcon....What do you guys think model wise...I love them all from XT-XE...........I was thinking probably a XA-XB....seien they were the best looking...probs spend bout 4g.....clean it up a bit....bit of work for me to do when im bored...fix her up

so what ya`s think...what do you think i should get?

go the XC GXL with the 351, had all the options looked the best too, can get them for around 4k as well.

If you want to modify the engine at all? Holley carb for example. Forget any car that has loads pollution requirements and laws. That rules out some of the XB's all the way through to XE.

I'm with Brendan on this one, anything Pre ADR 27A is much easier to legally modify.

As long as the car came out with the engine you want to put in it.

The old rumor is going around again, if you do a upgrade an engine you will have to compile with the year you first reg it with that engine. That will suck big time. A XP with a 302 would have to compile with 2006 reg's, there dreaming...

A mates getting an car engineered. He was told no matter what engine you have to comply it to the year of the car. He's fitting an EFI windsor into a 72 Capri.
