nah not really i am pretty happy with that

the el begins to overfuel at high revs and this is holding the rwkw back

the dyno opperator says that if i get that sorted it should be good for 145ish rwkw

and thats not to bad for a stock i6 el with zorst only

What the bloody hell do you want it to make??? That reading seems spot on (even a bit happy) to me.

Quite a few high results there. heljas, that's a very high reading for a "stock" EL with exhaust, surely someone must've snuck in a cam during its lifetime!

Well considering Heljas car got over 130 and its a stocker engine and mines a XR6 one, I thought id have a little more.

I know his cars a freak but damn!

Im not completely disappointed, but was hoping for more, I guess we all do...LOL

no i have the full history of the car so a cam is a def no

also the reason that i know it wont have a cam is the fact that its a hybrid engine

i wish i could find a cam for it

true. Usualy full exhaust stock xr6 engines make arround 114-116rwkw. Looks like quite a few warm stock cars there.

Shame 11 dropped out.

first of all everyone good stuff, love seeing those high rwkw figures from fords, especially i6's, and XR-ENVI is that your car in performance ford mag this month? it was 310rwkw in that, what have you done since to get that little bit extra

Yeah back then it was getting 311 but we have just changed the air box set up and a retune, amazing the difference it makes..almost 30kws and thats whilst running pretty crappy piping whilst waiting for the newly fabricated stuff. we had a good day and congrats to all the trophey winners

Was a really good day, i didn't intend on jumping on the dyno, but after seeing everyone else on there i thought i should have a crack. I was pretty happy with the result, even if it is the 2nd slowest of the 5L's. The dyno operator said it was pretty good, A/F was pretty much spot on.

122.9 with 290,***k's, stock bar exhaust and K&N. So its a little over with 122, calculating 165kw - 30% for drivetrain loss.

Heffnic: So what are you going to do to get a bit more our of it?
Me: Sell it and put a big block in my XY
Heffnic: *nods* yep, point taken

Was a good day, very well organized. It would have been good to see a few boosted e-series, but i think everyone had a good day.

so because a few people got good results on a dyno you all have to bag them out

as for my el the only mod it has is the exhaust

walkinshaw if you want to go over my el come over and have a look at it

it IS stock as it was a company car that only did local geelong work and as i said earlier i have the full service history for it

Jason,

My comment was aimed at people seemingly dissapointed at 130+rwkw from a stock car with an exhaust.

I know your car is stock, and have no reason to believe others would lie about it either.

hey guys, with my standard head, and Wade 1636, it continually is impressing me, i pulled out a wopping 155.6rwkw on standard timing, which was 0.7kw away from winning the most powerfull n/a i6 hehe, i dont mind, im just happy with 155rwkw dammit! i love it, heaps excited...and my air and fuel ratio was spot on chris the dyno operator told me...
