Played a variation of kings for the first time two weeks ago. It's good, simple, but effective.

I think we had 7 as the pee card. You CAN NOT go to the loo unless you have a 7 in your posession. If someone wants a 7 card and you have one, you can bargain with them... i.e. you can have this 7 if you take all my drinks for me...

We had another where... i think it was if you turned a queen, you got to make up a rule before anyone drank. i.e. jump on one leg... then, whenever a 4 was turned over, the chicks had to jump on one leg before they drank...

Another game, no props required, called profigliano.

Basically, everyone picks a country.

That country is now your name. You cannot call other players by their name, you must call them by their country.

The group sits in a circle.

There is an imaginary "ball" that is passed around. For example, i have the ball, and i call your country out, you now have the ball.

If you stuff up - you drink. i.e. if you're not paying attention, or if you call something you're not allowed to, or if you take too long ("too long" is decided by the group).

If you have the ball passed to you and say "russian earmuff" (accompanied by waving your right hand over your right ear), the ball is passed to the right. If you say "siberian earmuff" (accompanied by waving your left hand over your left ear), the ball is passed to the left.

If you have the ball and look directly at another player and call "zoom", that player now has the ball. You cannot zoom back to that player - if you do, you must drink. You can zoom immediately to another playeer.... but you cannot zoom three times in a row.

You can call "profigliano" and the ball is returned to the person who just passed it to you.

It's a quick game, which is what makes it fun... mix and match the various ways of passing the ball.... and as one can imagine, after a few fouls, it gets all the more difficult.

The true art comes in the deeking/faking. i.e. look at the person who has chosen, i dunno, italy... and call France. If italy responds, they drink... if france isnt paying attention and they miss it, they drink....

Centurion is a lot harder than it sounds BTW. That's about 8 stubbies of beer and technically, you're not allowed to go to the toilet until you're done.

Well, you can play it many ways, but this is how we do it.

1. Get a cup, fairly large so that alot of random alcohol can be placed in it.
2. Get a deck of cards, or two depending on how many people are playing (1 deck for say up to 6 people, >6 use two)
3. Place cup in the middle of the players, on a coffee table is always good
4. Spread cards around the cup, after they have been shuffled, so that it forms a "ring" around it.
5. First player picks up a card, flips it, and shows everyone, then does a task that is assigned to that card before the game has started.

Probably should have said that before, at the beginning, make the rules. You can do what ever you like. But as the name suggests, the Kings must only used for the following.

If you flip a King, whatever you happen to be drinking at the time is tipped into the cup in the center. Can be has much, or as little as you like.

Now, the rest of the deck will be assigned certain tasks. eg)

6 - "six for dicks" - all the males take a drink
4 - "four for whores" - all the females drink
Ace - "social" - everyone takes a drink
Queen - "waterfall" - this one is a killer. The person who picked up the card starts to drink, at that time EVERYONE else starts to drink aswell. Then, the person on the right of the card flipper can only stop once the person on the left has. As you can imagine, the person on the end of the waterfall is in a bit of trouble.

Other can include rhymes, categories, thumbs, etc etc etc

SO yeah, just make up rules for all the cards, dont make all of them harsh, remember that you will be flipping aswell.

So back to the game...

6. The game can only end when all the kings have been flipped. Whoever flips the last king has to drink whatever mess is in that center cup. Its up to the players if they have to scull it or not, sometimes the mix can be horrible depending on what people are drinking.

If there are cards still left (kings go early) then you can keep on going if you want.

Hope that makes sense!

Kings is good if you have people that know the rules and everyone is interested in playing, if you get a few people not really interested it degenerates quickly, but it is a fun game nonetheless.

THere is always the card game 'BEER', i got given it for my 18th, good fun with a smaller group, otherwise you need 2 or more packs of cards.

Then there is the one called 'well i never' or something along those lines, my missus and her friends play it, when somone says something that they never did you have to drink if you did it, they played it in family guy at one stage, on the boat with quagmire (SP?), funny stuff with the right people, especially if you have some dirt on them, or you like messing with peoples minds

groggles....

this is a great drinking game,

1st ensure all players have an alcoholic beverage, then all players shake there hands in the middle of the circle, yelling "grogglllllleeessss up!".

2nd, once "groggles up" is called all player form the shape of goggles with their pointer finger and thumb, placing them on your face, like a pair of glasses.

3rd, a random person will make a random noise, the most common is a chicken like "burkgurt" noise, once this noise is shouted, that player must then either extend out their left, right or both arms.

4th if the "burkgurt" player extends their left arm only, the player to the left of the "burkgurt" player must react by passing it on, if the "burkgurt" player extends their right arm only, the player to the right of the "burkgurt" player must react by passing it on. If the "Burkgurt" player extends both arms, the "burkgurt" player can direct this to anyone in the circle by looking at them and extending both arms. place arms back on face and prepared incase it is passed onto you.

5th, if a player doesn't react in time or take someone else's turn, they are chanted from other players to 'down their drink', and must do so, or cop degrading comments...

then the play is then restarted and follow steps 1 to 5, till someone passes out, or theres is only 3 or more players still standing.

For quick play, the faster your arms move, the faster the game and the more people get drunk quicker...

remember, the crazier the noise the funnier this game is.

warning play at your own risk

That reminds me of a game my mates and I played a few weeks ago while we were on holiday, "Ninjas". Sounds like groggles, but its with ninja noises (waaaah!). You pass along by making a pose to the left or right, and the person on the receiving end can block or pass along or something, I cant remember and somehow people drink. It was quite late at that stage and the rules were kinda ignored : The neighbours werent happy the next day, so many complaints :nutsycuck That was such an awesome night

LOL...sounds good 4.9!

Ive been meaning to sit down and make up a drinking game for the one dayers, gotta be a way to get the GF interested in cricket.

ie - be drinking beer or whatever during the game, but if a wicket falls then take a shot, if someone drops a catch that would be two shots, doesn't happen often, if a 6 is hit, take 6 swigs etc etc.

Ive never tried centurion.

Pyramid. You will be wasted by the end of that for sure!

Also played this game called Higher or Lower. You take a turn of drawing a card from the deck. Eg if you play highest, whoever draws the highest card has to drink a mouthfull of any booze.

Played this on Xmas Eve at my mates house. I couldn't get into my house and when my mum finally let me in, I dropped the case which I bought for Xmas day :

Yeah a variation of that is when a dealer has the deck. Then goes around the circle and you have to first guess the colour, then the next round would be high/lower, then the next would be is it in between or outside the previous two, then next is guess the suit.

All good fun until someone does a spontaneous spew..LOL

Lol if you last long enough you forget whether you're playing higher or lower! Jeez you go through the booze quick though.

As for spewing, I can't remember the last time I did. Way more than a year though. I drink heaps but not rediculous amounts.

A mate spent some time working in Weipa where there is not a real lot to do.
So they play "goonies"
You need :
One rotary cloths line. Hills hoist or one of those plastic green things.
Four casks (goonies) of cheap wine. Must be different flavours. And a few more as backup.
Tie the goonies to the end s of the four arms on the clothsline.
All the players then stand around the clothsline. A nominated player then gives it a spin. Not too hard or there could be injuries.
When it stops spinning, whoever is nearest to a goonie has to pour a full glass and skol.

The game ends when anybody left standing agrees that it should end.

Was just outside then and the old Hill Hoist came into my view and got me thinking up a new game.

Draw 4 random cards from a deck, stick them to each end. Give it a spin and whatever card you got is how many mouthfulls you have to have. :

Mmmm mum is going away tommorow! Time to hook the **** off speakers up to the computer and partay on!

Yeah Goon is when you're desperate. I remember my mates 18th when my mate left his cask lying around, I wasn't quite ****ed yet and had no booze so squeezed the trigger and let her rip skulling that crap.

My mates GF walked in and I said "You tell anyone about this, I will kill you" :

Beer Pong?

4 players playing table tennis. Each has a cup close to their own corner.
Ping Pong ball hits your cup, you take a sip. If it goes in, you skull the whole lot, refill it and play the next point.

Seen it played once. Got messy reasonably quickly.

HAHAHA yeap.

Also one to play when your in a pub/club. Someone get a coin, preferably a cleanish one. Then when someone drops it into your pot, you have to scull whatever is left.

Once they person has downed the drink, then he does it to someone else, and so on. As the game goes on you forget to be wary of your drink, others get paranoid and defend at a flinch, very funny.

Someone mentioned toilet, whats the longest you guys have been without a pee? I hold the record amongst my friends, 14 cans of beer without going for a pi$$. I know someone has beaten it and will do again, I would try and break it until I found out some poor buggers have split/popped? their bladders. LMAO :

Once, a few years ago me mates and I watched the 3 old Star Wars movies in a row and you had to drink each time someone mentioned the force or if a light sabre went up or down....not realy a party game though but it does get you pretty hammered.

Another game we made was dream time stories. Basicly you all sit around in a circle and nominate a topic for some one to tell a 'dream time' style story about how it originated or how it got its name. If everyone judges your story to be worthy you nominate some one else and give them a topic but if your just rambling on and/or no one likes your story you are forced to down a few consecutive drinks.
