I've read many threads where people have posted tributes to their beloved pet who has passed on. Mrs Ringo and I said goodbye to our 15 year old Kelpie/Retreiver Cross nearly 2 years ago and we were devastated.
Anyway at the end of last year we decided we were ready for another dog in our lives......then Mrs Ringo spotted her in a pet shop window and fell in love.....so introducing Jaimie, a 9 week old Female Pomeranian X. Its amazing how quickly they grow and adapt to their new surrounds... A few pics... |

Cool looking dog there Ringo. The breed get very big when grown?? Absolutely the worst part about renting a house is the no-dog policy. Lived with dogs for the first 17 years of my life and have been pet-less ever since i left home. Home life just not the same without one of these trouble makers!!

Should be small to medium when fully grown 4.9 EF Futura. Terrier size in other words
We too have realised now how much we have missed not having a dog around...and I thought I was more a cat person having grown up with cats for 25 years. We only have a small backyard and a smallish house so a smallish dog was all we could really have...otherwise a big lovable Lab or Retreiver would have been considered. We got a minuture version instead. My mum has now nicknamed it her furry grandchild... Anyway the furry grandchild disgraced herself last night by rolling in then eating her own poo...charming! |

She's gorgeous. Ignore the bogan comments. Rotweillers are good if you have a drug house to protect. (puts flourescent polo flamesuit on)

Cool pics mowog.
I am waiting for the day when I come home and find Mrs Ringo has put a bow on her....it could be tonight! Thanks XCGXL - bogan comments ignored...She won't protect us from a thing! In fact she attracts people like flies to a carcas - the moment people see her they talk to us and want to pat her and stuff.... Had a freaky old guy with no teeth (wearing a windcheater, parka and shorts?!) talking to me on Saturday when we walked her to the shop...he has 2 rotties at home he told us...maybe he had a drug house to protect but by the look of him he would 'consume' any profits ? |

Hows the carpet right about now? lol
Our dog is about 6 months now, pretty well trained now except the odd hole in the garden and the few land mines right under the washing line, I'm happy to be past the worst part! |

That is one really cute puppy. Keeping this post out of the kids eye shot.
My youngest has been carrying on that since our Staffy is more 'my' dog than anyone else's that he should be allowed a puppy : Jaimie is an extremely cute name for an absolutely gorgeous little one

gee fprxr6 that little fellow can run fast. Ringo the puppy looks very cute. It's been my experience that some of the smaller breeds have a lot more character than the larger breeds. Before I get blasted, it's just my personal opinion. it isn't necessary correct. anyway I hope you both enjoy the dogs. looking forward to seeing the maltese pics, I think they are a very affectionate dog.

I recently "acquired" a female border collie pup ... she was 6 months old when we picked her up (8 months old now).
She is great ... similar to what Rodderz mentioned though ... a few holes here and there .. and the odd landmine. Thank goodness she is a shorthair too ... I'd hate to groom a long hair dog. She keeps the birds away by chasing them all over the 10 acres we have ... so she gets good exercise as well. Bec has a Parsons Jack Russell that now lives at her parents place ... and he gets the run of the farm ... very fast ... mental case as well ... but great dog ... he's a good ratter as well.

When i get my puppy (hopefully soon), i want to get a chocolate and brown border collie, preferably female!
We have a collie atm (sable & white, looks like lassie) and her hair is quiet long and have to brush her all the time!

Hope you got room ... they love to run ... and chase things ... we had to fix and modify some fences just to keep her in though. Great dog if you have kids ... very gentle

Wolfhounds!....they are horses that eat dog food!
I knew someone who had one and he was massive. He used o put his front paws on his owners shoulders and sort of stand up....he would have been 6 ft plus when he did this. He would have been waist high at least. Last night when I got home she saw me at the door and started wiggling her little tail which is the first time I've had her excited to see me.....yep I've definatley missed having a dog Jaimie loves the dirt...she has started digging in one place and then wanders back inside with dirty paws and dirt all over her face....proud as punch. If she keeps this up she will discover that she could dig her way out pretty easily...keep my fingers crossed. I'm enjoying the great dog stories...keep em coming |

I had to jump on the bandwagon and show off my new little fella, these pics are a few weeks old and he's a little bigger now, but still small.
I get comments because I'm 6'2" and 115kg, and little Macguyver (yes, that's his name, shortened to little Mac) is only 2.5kg at last weight in. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d7...wcamera073.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d7...wcamera021.jpg |
