Hi All,
Went to move the passenger seat forward while I was vacuuming the car today, and as I was sliding it, it suddenly clunked to a stop and now won't move. I've checked for the obvious things like anything stuck under the seat or in the rails, but haven't come up with anything. Have also checked that the handle is actually doing it's thing, and it does appear to be working, but the damn seat won't move. Even tried brute force with no luck, but I didn't try for long, as I didn't want to break anything. Before I pull the seat out to see what's going on, has anyone had this happen before, or any other suggestions on what to look for? Thanks, Justin.

Theres a little metal rod underneath that connects the 2 rails to make them slide forwards and backwards, that has come off thats why its stuck.
If you have another poke around underneath the seat, you will feel it, and feel where it goes, and all you do is clip it in its place and away you go, very easily fixed, common probs too. |

Guessing that all the crap under the seat must have got jammed when I moved the seat. I'll have to train the kids to keep the car clean!
