Default ED mirrors

Are the electric mirrors in an ED identical to EA, EB and EB 2 ones???

Also will EF/EL mirrors fit right up and work perfectly electrically?

I need a left mirror since it will not turn left or right.

EB to ED are identical. EA ones are different

And from what I've heard, EF ones fit but you'll need to drill an extra hole

EF mirrors fit and as Dezza said you need to drill an extra hole... however to get them to work you need to cut of the EF-EL plug and swap it to an EA-ED one its easy though takes about 10 mins

yeah the wiring is the same for EB to ED but make sure you put the little plastic flange around before you connect the spring thats inside. The mirror may be loose otherwise.

Yep. EB1 and EB2 have the same mirrors. EAs had carryover XF ones.

Yeah they started changing stuff after EA heaps didnt they? Do you think that you can pull the mirror assembly out and modify it to fit an ED? Even if its manual movement and you need to put it in a power driven one.
