I reguarly pickup damaged/recovered cars out of Pickles and Fowlers and was a little distressed when I saw this being loaded on another truck while I was there.
Not sure if its a repost though Must add that this is one of the tamer type of damage I have seen in these places. One HSV comes to mind but a VERY grizzly story behind it so havnt been too keen to take a snap of it. |

Apart from the slight dent in the side, you wouldn't even know it was crashed!

*Suggests all the buffing in the world won't help this old girl.
Never like seeing pics like these, although, as you've said it is tame. Having my old man work at the same place the WA police held the Fatal crashes... I saw some where you just have to wonder what the hell the were doing/thinking.

Probably nobady in the back seat. If there was the car would have been cut apart by rescue services.

Behind my other work is a holding yard for one of the smash repairers here, pretty much any major crash that happens, you'll see the car arrive there the next day. Been at work some sundays and seen some cars come in that really make you wonder if anyone lived - although in most in the yard, they didnt.

You guys do realise what that is.
THAT IS THE RAREST FPV EVER MADE. There was only ever one FPV built in congo green, the colour was dropped in march 2003. It is a BA GT-P from april 2003. From memory it was manual with leather. |

Look at Pic 2. It has a greenish tinge. It also has a metallic flake look.
In the BA1 the only black was Silhouette and that is a gloss black not a flake. The only other "flake" dark colours were HgAg and Pearl Blue and it is definitely not either of them. Other evidence is that it has a sunroof and stripes which the congo GT-P had. There was a pic of it on the old FF.septic. |

Looking at in front of the mirror where the sun is at a different angle shows green. But Pic 3 looks black as. I'd now say it is the one and only Congo Green car. :(

I believe this might be the one that was involved in the fatal crash in Altona, Victoria with a 23 year old driver.
