I was wondering when the next one was ... I remember one previously that Stav organised ... was a meet and greet in a centralised location on a Sunday morning from memory (as a lot of people work Saturday's).

When you say next Saturday is that the 5th? Or are you talking about the following. Don't forget it's summernats this weekend so that would limit numbers.

I was going to try to do one before Christmas but realised most people will be busy with family and frantic pace of work at the time. Not to mention holidays. I did the meet on a Saturday for a few hours at Maccas at Auburn. I felt like a simple meet without tying people down and then back to their Saturday was going to be easier for people to get back to their families and enjoy the rest of their day. It was a good turnout of around 30 to 40 cars.Everyone was sociable and we all had enjoyed each others company. I think the only issue may be the amount of members on holidays for a little while.

If you want to do a meet how about we do another morning meet in Silverwater /Auburn area once again but for later in January or early February? Let me know what you think?

Yeah man dont mean to steal this thread off Mr auxr8 but wot about the 12th or the 19th? I put a thread in the crusie section and some guys reckon the 26th might be bad because of the double demerits on that weekend , what do you guys reckon?

Or we could just head down to that car show at Albion Park that Black Betty posted in the Events annd Crusies section. All we need to do is maybe find so where to get together and get the cars together, what cha think?

I would be up for a AU gathering. Silverwater area is pretty central for most Sydney siders.

Ill be in a Saturday morning get together on the 19th.It is alot easier for a meet over a cruise but then if you want can meet for those who want to and then whoever wants to go for a later cruise may do? Its easier for a meet for us older married fellas who get back to the lawns and family later...

i would love to go, but i hate going to the city. I live in the blue mountains...i never go past penrith in my nomal routine. I'm somewhat agrophobic - open spaces, or at least unfamiliar ones make me nervous.
it's just too far for me to go.

If anyone wants to do an outer west meetup...i'll be there with bells on.

Homes if the meet is at macca's in auburn it's quite easy to get too. You take the Silverwater Exit on the M4 (first exit straight after tolls), and turn right. It's on your right hand side (cnr parramatta rd & st Hillers/Silverwater rd). Can't miss it.

You could also take parramatta rd earlier to avoid the tolls. It's fair drive from faulconbridge, but will be worth it. If the meet is set for the 19th I will most likely attend. You could always meet me on the way and follow me there.

I am all good for Saturday or Sunday so far ... I am not rostered on to work.

Homes ... if you want .. you could meet a few of use Western Sydney people at Penrith and we can direct you into Auburn (literally 2 turns off the M4 ... about 200m from it).

And easy to get back on it too.
