Default Angel eye headlights

Well I finally took delivery of my black angel eye headlights from european-parts today, after I placed the original order on the 5th of February, it has been an excruciatingly long wait. But well worth it. It's a fair job trying to do it all, as I tried to make it as professional as I could. Each light comes with 4 white and 4 black wires, including two that come out of the wiring clip. The four black wires I stripped back and tied together, then soldered and wrapped in electrical tape. I then did the same for the four white wires. With all the leftover wiring, I tried to tie them all back as far as possible, and cable tied them, before again reinforcing them with more electrical tape. Took about an hour all up, but was very tedious. Think I used about 10 metres of electrical tape too

The picture here speaks for itself, but they look much better in real life. I will take some daylight shots when I get an opportunity.

They were $350 from European-Parts. But that was with regular shipping. With the time it took to get them and EP's reputation, I would highly recommend getting premium shipping, so it would prob be a bit higher, closer to $400ish

I thought it was illegal to modify any part of your head lights surroundings?

Lol, good luck with that buddy! I really like the look of what you have done with it on your car. Wish I could do something like that to my XR but unfortunatly for me my father is a copper!

I spotted these on eBay (UK) and given the strength of the Aussie dollar against the pound at the moment, they would in the low $300s shipped.

Any opinions on these?

Thats not a bad price, theirs a very similar style (if not the same) also available here for $A 329 http://www.european-parts.net/catalo...roducts_id=496

my personal favourites are these babies:

But I'm a bit gun shy... at $A 623 to import them!!

Yeah those second ones look great. Definitely pick those, but with the cost of them, it's understandable that you're a bit gun shy!!
The first ones are a good cheaper option though. Would still look great.
