Hi All, what other model car's rims fit focus?
I will do some research my self, but has anyone else come across rims that fit no probs? I am thinking 17" and up. Thanks in advance - Leakey

Guys if your wallet can afford it, go for a set off 18's.. They look so damn good and that much better then 17's.. The extra cost would be minimal I would imagine..... Just gave the wifes car a waxing today,,, I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it up...

Oh, that thread is great. I couldnt find it when searching?
I have a set of (5) Volvo rims, off an XC70, they're 18" x 7.5", 55mm offset, 5 x 108. Do you think the 55mm offset will not enable them to be fitted? Given they cost me nothing, does anyone know machining costs to take a few mills off to say 52mm offset? or if that's even possible? I like them. Similar to the XR5 wheel. But different!!

Haha, I just realised something. In my first post here, I mentioned I am a Torana fan.
The Torana stud pattern is also 5 x 108. Add it to the list!!

According to alloywheels.co.uk, the Focus offset needs to be between 38 and 52, which unfortunately rules out those nice looking XC70 wheels.
And yes, a lot of the 5 x 108 wheels are chrome / show pony wheels. But for some race style wheels, I'd start by looking at OZ Racing, if the budget allows. |

However, I'd expect that you could go up to a 55 offset without any problems.

Well, its a moot point now. We had a break in over the weekend.
They took a few power tools, some really nice brass door handle sets, some acrylic displays (for Gucci and Armani sunglasses) and three of the five wheels I had. The two left have basically no tread, but the other three were 95%. I rang a couple of dealers and have been told they will cost $799 each to replace. I dont have receipts, or any other proof, as they were given to me. The other stuff I get insurance to cover, but they wont even acknowledge the wheels. Very ****ed off. Time to get a Rotty I think.

Sorry to hear that. Those wheels look good, and I'm sure would suit the Focus.

Yeah, keen to see them too.
Little bit of good news for me, a photo showing items that got stolen, has the stacked rims in the back ground. You can make out the top rim, and its the same as the two that are left, so I am saying to insurance co. that as they accepted the photo as proof of one of the items stolen, then this same photo acts as proof of the rims. I only listed power tools as individual items (as they request) and the rest is covered under contents. Might get them back after all! Any hoo, I would also be keen on seeing a rip off version of those XR5 rims too.

How do you know they are replicas? They look spot on to me. If they're the set I think they are that were on Ebay a short time ago with start bid of $1K or buy it now $1.2K then they are genuine. Do you know where else these replicas can be bought from? Much better than the $1.9K others are charging!! PS check the thread of your car. I lowered it for you.

I bought mine on ebay payed $560 and $70 to have them freighted down to melb from syd! They are copies you cant tell the difference unless you put them together! they had no centre caps just popped out my old ones from my 16" and put them into the 18". Will try and get some pics when I work out how to do it!!!!!

elgreko, did you buy from an Ebay shop or off an individual? I have scoured the web for these, and have only ever found genuine items way above $1k + tyres.
Would appreciate any details you might recall, as $560 sounds bloody good!

Stock ride height or XR5 springs?

stock ride, Its a TDCI I want to drop it 30mm but I don't want to void my warranty only done 20000kms! Have looked into the springs they are special only for diesels, cos they are such a heavy motor cant use any other springs!
