Two weeks ago I smashed the wind screen 40 k north of Karartha in the Pilbarra. Replacement cost was $502. How much does one cost in Melbourne?

Usually around $250 to $300 depending on supplier and if both suppliers are in the area ie. competition.

speaking of windscreens.... off topic for a second,, would a ba rear window fit an au....i was thinking of getting rid of the gaurd aerial and useing a ba rear window , it has the antenna inbuilt i think if i`m not mistaken , i know the ba front is smaller than au .

easy answer no ... unless you graft a BA roof on.
But you can buy an aftermarket on glass radio aerial if you are that serious about it. Definitely cheaper than a BA roof and rear glass LOL. |
