Hi all.
So, I've got to fill out this sucky logbook for TAFE, & one of the things I've got to write up is fault diagnosis, installation & removal of bearings. Naturally, I thought I'd write up the process for when I changed my rear wheel bearings in the Escort. Only problem is, I can't for the life of me remember what type of bearings they are. By that, I mean are they single- row deep- groove bearings? Double- row? Tapered roller bearings? I kind of need to make it sound like I know what I'm talking about, but I threw the damn things away a year ago, thinking "what the hell would I need to keep some old, worn bearings for?" Can anyone tell me the technical definition for the rear wheel bearing type? |
