Awesome looking trucks.
I remember watching an episode of MTV Cribs a while back, they were showing off T-Pains house and he had an F650. Thing was bloody massive and looked nuts.

Haaa the house in the background only just clears the bonnet.

I would hate to drive that thing on a regular basis..... running and insuring it wouldn't be cheap either.

With a fuel burn of high 20's per 100, it's not everyones cup of tea, at least not as daily ransport.

They are very common in the states, I saw dozens of them in LA and Miami. One of them in Miami was towing a 45ft offshore race catl with quad supercharged V8 inboards, that was something.

I believe they can legally tow around 8t.

The one pictured is a baby, you should see some of them that have been lifted and fitted with extr over size wheel / tire combos.

Always wondered why the yanks called their pick-ups trucks? I'd look at an old F150 and think its just a "big ute".

But that thing is definitely a "truck".

Be a great way to lose weight too. I'm guessing it won't fit through the drive-thru.

Total waste of space and used by guys who are compensating for something.
Whats it weight? 5tons?
One would hope you need a LR licence to drive it to here in Australia as there is no way that could be clased as anything other then a light truck.
Then there is the running costs, fuel, insurance, imagine the cost of the tyres alone... trying to park it would be impossible, no chance of parking it in underground carparks.

Vehicles like this should only be aimed at the commercial end of town, not tarted up as a "ute" or suv".

You forgot to mention the price...$195,000 but is that before or after the RHD conversion ?

Things are different over in the USA. Cheaper fuel costs and a bigger market mean things like that massive F650 and the modified one gecko showed us are cheaper to own and run than similar vehicles in Australia. With F trucks one of the top selling vehicles in the US it's no wonder so many people just buy them as dailies instead of for work or farm use. They've become a lifestyle choice rather than a workhorse first and foremost. Still, since I've gotten into 4WDing it's become a dream of mine to own a lifted F truck with 35" muddies and a nice big alloy bar. It'll be a long way away but I'll do it eventually.

LOL there are not F650s driving around everywhere for recreational use. Very occasionally you see one that's converted to a styleside pickup, but they are very rare. They are mostly cab-chassis converted to busses or dump trucks or something (they have a purpose). An F350 would be more than enough truck for me. They can still pull about 10 tonnes. They are actually nice to drive too, get about 20 mpg unloaded.

I doubt there would be many people who have a legitimate need for one of those behemoths, it's only purpose would be as a phallic extension in most cases.
