TRUCKING magnate Lindsay Fox has urged Australians to "make love tonight and create another baby for Australia".
When asked today about a report published by Leadership Management Australasia that says baby boomers are more of a headache for managers rather than Generation Y, Mr Fox encouraged Australians to have more children. "No, we need all the babies we can get so we can populate Australia," he said. "So I'd encourage everyone to go home and make love tonight and create another baby for Australia. "I was a careless Protestant, my wife was a good Catholic, and we had six kids in seven years and I'd endorse that to everyone." Mr Fox delivered his procreation proclamation after donating more than $1 million to the Red Cross Victorian Floods Appeal. Flanked by Premier Ted Baillieu and appeal chairman Ron Walker, Mr Fox presented the money, which was raised through his role as the president of the Australian-German Chamber of Commerce. He can afford more kids..I am sure the average ausie cann't!!!!!!!

What Lindsay is really trying to say is that he wants the Anglo-Saxon majority of the population to increase, much in the same way that Peter Costello did a few years ago. Nothing wrong with that, but why mask it behind political correctness?

I'm surprised he's actually come out and said this, the article seems slightly disjointed, as though something is missing...like context...

Sounds like SPARTAAAARRRR. On a serious note, if the world is concerned abot the environment, more people is bad. Also I am not a believer in the inert gas, CO2 (the gas responsible for ozone production and plant growth) being the cause of our problems. |

Nevermind...it's not important, nor is what Lindsay Fox said either for that matter.

I laugh everytime someone says they dont have enough money to have kids, no-one ever does!
There is never a perfect time, so if you want to, do it. My kids are the best thing that ever happened to me. With our first one, my wife and I were young and we had to live in a caravan in the back of my parent's place as we couldnt even afford rent - still the happiest time of my life back then, even though it was tough. Growing up, we were very poor but we made do with four kids in the family. Still I probably had one of the richest childhoods anyone could ask for. There is never a perfect time, so dont waste your life waiting. |

There is so much more to life than living in the best house you could afford or having the newest car in the drive way. Just go and do it, Australia is such a prosperous country good wages, work is available, govt assistance, why wouldn't you just do it. Also, think of how many people in your life that were the 3rd born in their family or later. Think of how much different your life would be if they weren't in your life. Now think if everyone only had 1 or 2 kids as this is the rule "all we can afford", how different that would be. You/we can't afford not to have more babies - and they're cute too. Not trying to sound too heavy and biblical, but, "Go forth and mulitply": |

There is a family upgere in Qld, who this week gave birth to their 15th child. That's right 15th. An Australian record. Channel 9 had a story on the news last night (8th of June) ofhow the family runs.
When asked "What about number 16?" "Well we hope so, but one day nature will step in & that will be a sad day"
