Default Removing heater control switches AU2 and AU3

Hello all,

I just looked through the how to thread and couldn't find this info. Can someone tell me the process of removing the three heater control knobs on an AU 2 or 3. Is it just a matter of yanking the switches and they slide off or does all the surround etc have to come off first? Thanks.

where are these clips? i removed the screws myself and found that this part of the fascia was still too tight to removed. If i pry out with a flathead screwy will anything be likely to break

From memory the vacuum hoses will only go back on the way they come off.

I cant remember the exact location of the clips to release the inner surround from the outer round bit but I do remember it is a bit fiddly.

the whole outer oval surround unclips the inner square one stays with the outer i used a flat scraper instead of a screwdriver it takes a bit of force but will unclip
