Hello,
my name is Jens. I'm from Germany and i need help for buy genuine FORD parts in Australia. I'm an owner of one of two genuine Ford Cougar ST200 worldwide and i try to make a restoration. But in Germany/Europe and also USA no all parts avaible soon. Please look here for information for the Cougar ST200 on a german website. http://www.redcougar.de/html/cougar_st200.html I'm looking for the genuine ST200 rims/wheels. my local dealer c'ant sell me this. Ford europe have not in stock any ST200-COUGAR-wheels. I saw in Australia Ford have sell a "Eibach Cougar". This is product of coorperation of Eibach, Ford Tickford Experience and Ford Melbourne. The Eibach-Cougar have the same wheels like the ST200 Cougar. http://www.redcougar.de/html/editionen_aus.html The rims are 17" x 7" alloy wheel with 14 spokes. Can you help me pleaset to find out, whether the wheels yet are avaible in Australia? If you have any question please ask me. I try to give you all information you need. Thank you wabble |

I had these wheels on my car but two of them cracked so could not be used anymore so I bought new style wheels from the USA.
Very hard to find..........Ford quoted me A$1000.00 per wheel. Good luck.

I threw them out in recycling because wheels should not just get cracks in them for no reason.
If I see wheels will let you know. I don't think Ford dealers will be interested. Regards

How much are you willing to spend for these wheels? It might be very expensive to get them shipped to Germany. Only 100 of these cars were made in Australia and I don't think not all of those survived over the past 12 years. There are some after market wheels available in similar design. You can get them re-painted to match this design. There are people who does this.
cheers, Yogi

Hi,
i try to make the restoration with genuine parts. I have spend many time and money in this project. But the ST200 is so unique that i try all the works. The shipping cost, the taxes and the costum duty i know from import parts from U.S. to Germany. To calculate the postage i have found this site: http://auspost.com.au/apps/international-parcel.html But the difficulty is to find someone, who help me to find and purchase the wheels in Australia. Maybe have someone ideas or can spend me time to help me. cheers wabble |
