Hi Guys and Gals.
Just home from the SummerNats opening cruise into Civic. Couldn't really find an appropriate place to post apart from the photography section. Trust me, these are nothing to do with photography. Some incredible cars. And finally, one of my beast ready for the Nats: Cheers Stu

Lol, that was my thought too... Damn they're big rims.
Some really nice cars in that lot, and that's only a drip in the bucket of what's gonna be there, wish I was there |

Gotta laugh everytime I see pics of the locally registered cars that nobody has spotted before
I must be the only petrolhead in Canberra not going. Thanks for the pics mate.

I did note that myself. Never see these cars apart from special events. Amazing what is hiding in garages around the nations capital.

Should do this at Parliment House lol
The title is This is what 69 cars with over 350,000 Horsepower sounds like firing up for the Burnout World Record (I think there are too many zero's - 350,000 HP lol) http://www.viddy.com/video/1aa12868-...2-8ff01bdf2a26 I read somewhere 1700 entrants lol The calm before the storm. World record status achieved!! It's official. Summernats has a new burnout world record. Here's co-owner Andy Lopez with the official award. The final figure was 69 cars doing a simultaneous burnout for more than 10sec, but most went for 30sec or more and some even popped tyres.

Happy SummerNats 2013.
My temperature gauge in direct sunlight in Gungahlin - 10 mins up the road from the Nats. And it is predicted to be hotter tomorrow. Stu

There was a nice rod at 0:06 and the BA GT had Boss 1021 or 1071 on the bulge and made a very loud whining noise, so I'm assuming that may have been power in HP? But I won't bother posting any more since it is not good enough for you, rick.

Crazy???? I suppose so but he's just Miller to those who know him. How crazy do you have to be to drive the actual car from Cairns to Canberra just to compete? |
