My Thread. The new whip: 2014 FGX XR8 Auto in victory gold. Mods : BMC air filter, 1500cc injectors, Walbro 485, 58mm kpm snout, kpm intercooler, 35% front and 20% rear tint, pedders supercar coilovers, whiteline sway bars, Phillips HIDs, lenso d1r wheels. 331rwkw. 12.7 sec stock as a rock with a passenger. Now with 620rwhp ready to run the 10 built zf, built tailshaft, corn juice all to come. The old rig: 2008 FG XR8 Auto in dash green with a tonne of mods to make 311rwkw. |

Aslong as they have the relevent ADR number stampings in the lens they will be legal

With SAE/DOT E marking (E1, E4 etc) they should be. To pass ADR's, the product needs too meet the requirement's set out in the national standards... This means the product is tested and approved for use. However, there is nothing stopping a dodgy company stamping a lense with these numbers...

Depends if they're smoked in the factory, and still provide sufficient braking output.
Take mine on my BMW for example, smoked but clear so the LED's shine bright through the lens, brighter than the factory assembly too.   Otherwise, just leave them mate, it's not worth someone rear ending you then saying "I couldn't see your brake lights under the paint you have on them!" |
