Default FORZA 5 Car List Revealed (for the gamers)

As you can imagine, as soon as I saw the list I immediately looked for an FG FPV, no luck. However they included a 2011 HSV GTS.... wtf? A GTS but no FPV rival? Also looks like there is no Aussie Fords apart from the FPR V8SC. Very disappointing. The GT is much more of an icon IMO, and should have been included for us Aussies. You could mod the V8SC FG slightly but the bodykit looks terrible for a "street" car copy of your own GT if you wanted to make one.

Anyhow, the list can be found here http://www.videogamer.com/xboxone/fo..._revealed.html

Better add Forza to the list of biased organisations too. Boy that list is growing too.

For the PS3/Ps4 gamers here is the GT6 list

The reason they include the GTS is it's available in UK as a vauxhall (and was going to be released in the usa as a chevy?) basically it's done for europe, and aussies are just lucky to get one or two modified to look like our cars. I'm amazed they include the v8sc, i guess the producers like the series. (included in forza 4 too). we only got the XB falcon in Forza4 because americans like mad max's car.

Yeah, still, the HSV being an Aussie car it sucks they didn't include an FPV. Sick of driving games with the same 1969 mustang or shelby stangs all the time.

Hopefully it comes as DLC anyway, it would sell quite well I'd imagine.

I'm hoping the audio is better this time, as when a cam change was done in FM3 and 4 the exhaust note was the same and idle was waaaay too quiet. Everyone loves a fat idle.

Gotta say I'm kinda getting over Gran Turismo and their claims of over 1000 cars when in reality they have the same cars - such as the Nissans, Toyotas and did you see how many of the same Mazdas, with just a different paint job. Meh, I think this will be the first Gran Turismo I'll skip. But Forza I will buy just to fly up the mountain in an FPR Falcon...

I’m going to do a few ‘Hot Laps’ around Bathurst in the 2011 Holden #1 Toll Holden Racing Team Commodore VE & the 2011 Ford #5 Ford Performance Racing FG Falcon and prove once and for all which one is the fastest.

Yep...the XB was voted by the public as one of the short listed cars to make it in an add on pack. (F4)I think I've burnt an XB in my screen i used it so much

Agreed. I was really hoping for an FPV. F6 and GT would be killer, especially the I6 motor.

They have SEVERAL different versions of a Festiva or Fiesta but not one proper Aussie Ford. Same with the mustangs and shelbys. Drive one hatchback in the game and you've driven them all, absolutely no character or thrill to drive, especially on big open tracks with stuff all horsepower.

eh, no Triumph TR7. I wont be in any hurry to buy it...
Or as with the current Grand Tourismo will have to get a TVR V8's which I can make have about the same specs as my car :-)
I like changing power, gearbox ratios, camber, tyes, weights etc to kind of compare with my actual car, then race "my car" against others :-)

I tend to spend an hour or so testing and tweaking the cars to individually suit each track, otherwise I haven’t got a chance in hell of being competitive on-line.

Most of the game's stock settings for camber and suspension in general leave a lot to be desired and it’s always a good idea to adjust the throttle response and gear ratios then switch off the Traction, ABS and Stability controls and learn to brake and throttle in and out of the apex if you’re after a quick time.

I know it's not like real racing but it still can be fun from a competitive point of view.

I payed for all my cars by selling tunes far popular American cars that were competitive in online racing...and setups for drags. The SWEET spot can be very elusive to find in some cars. Sometimes you will get an easy second simply by stumbling on exactly the correct tyre pressure that devs set the car up for with max traction!
Not having a million cars isn't too bad.....there are like 10 classes and as you change and mod cars, they really change the whole car.
