As soon as I saw the kangaroos, I got excited.
I seriously hope they have Aussie Falcons in the game. Trailer https://youtu.be/fTSUgXkfooA Press Conference https://youtu.be/bWWfpNVLsXA Last edited by Fab; 14-06-2016 at 05:27 AM. |

I guess it's too early to expect a PC port..? Perhaps Forza 7 - if they implement VR, that'd make my year. Have a G920 but found a lot of the racing in Horizon requires you to not play in cockpit view since it was impossible to see due to so many off-road races and it feels odd using a wheel in 3rd person view.
Will wait to see how much (if any) Aussie content is in the game. |

I bought the xbox one just for forza and was dissapointed and sold it and went back to PC and PS4. I might just rebuy the one for this but might wait to see proper racing, not just a good trailer.

Forza 5? That game sucked. Forza 6 won me back. I have never bought a horizon but this will get me there. And I'll add the new Xbox s to the list. Mine is on its way out. |

If you are looking for proper racing in Horizon you will be sorely disappointed as the control of the car is more arcade style than simulator.

The E3 video does state on windows 10. I am not worried about realistic driving as such but when something is hyped up so much you expect more. With Forza 5 I was expecting next gen awesomeness and was dissapointed. Also there is only so many times I can drive the same track just faster cars or more laps.
Horizon 3 looks great and as an open world appeals to me alot. However being based in Aus you would expect a lot of home grown cars and if they are lacking it would be very dissapointing. |

I saw a pic of what looks like the rear of an xc coupe and a green torana with a heap of old school muscle cars on dirt.
I might be wrong as totally **** when it comes to picking a car from the rear |

This game gonna be good. I'm just waiting for when the do gooders find out that a racing game will be set on Australian roads. They will try to get it banned because it encourages 'hooning' or some other garbage. I just noticed all the cars look like they have Californian number plates. Would be nice to seen some Australian ones just to make it look a little more genuine. Especially on the Australian cars. |

I think it's an XB Coupe, they had it in the game since Forza 4 iirc in the same VL yellow.

I did just pre-order this so I will be annoyed if the nanny state does ban it. Did they end up banning PGR with the Australian tracks in it or have it edited out?

XB, that and the A9X are already in Forza 6 - can't see any reason why they wouldn't stick them in FH3. There's also a Walkinshaw, HQ, VE GTS and the US version of the SS. Can't remember any others off the top of my head.
Then you have V8 Supercars. |

I always wished they would do a Forza-quality game based solely on Bathurst, with the track down through the years, all the different cars from over the decades.

This game will suck. Think about it, there will be speed cameras every couple of kilometres, your car will be impounded and your licence suspended with the game not working till your suspension ends, you'll have to undertake a driver offender program and have an alcohol interlock fitted before you can play again. Don't forget being pulled over for defects.

From downshift on Facebook
Once you win a few races you unlock the Chevy badge so you can get more power. Not shown: stockies on the rear |

Forza Horizon 3 better come on PC and not disappoint. GRID Autosport may be a bit long in the tooth by comparison.

It's lowered on chopped springs mate. The original creator of this picture forgot the Chevy badge and I think in nanny state 'Straya even a 100km/h speed limit is too high.

Can someone enlighten me on what Forza Horizon is? Has someone made a game similar to being able to cruise around in Google Street View in virtual reality in any car you want?

Forza Horizon is based around a Car Festival, more open world. 350 Cars, The Map in this case is very loosely based on some locations in Australia.

Thanks. Holding out for a game harnessing something similar to Google Maps Street View, except being able to drive around however you want, in whatever car you want. Think flight simulator, but with cars. Would probably be illegal in Australia, due to possible depiction of hoon offenses .

Have you seen No Mans Sky? Pretty much a never ending game, constantly evolving and creating new planets with their own environments to discover. Imagine adapting this technology to these kind of games!
