Default Escort Bumper Bar?

I have what looks like a Mk1 rear bumper, but there is an indentation at the centre/bottom of the bumper as if for a number plate.

yes, I believe they are interchangeable. the rear should be parallel all the way across

Sacrilege I know, but I ended making new ones for mine out of an old bed base back in the early 80's in the UK.
