from my understanding they scored the XR6 suspension settings and a 3.45 lsd, but other than thatthey were esentially a gli running gear wise...

It was the EFII or maybe EF that got the XR suspension settings I think, although I think from the EB the Ghia was positioned slightly as a "sports luxury" model they had not taken it that far yet suspension wise. Given an ED wouldn't (or shouldn't?) have its original shocks on it still, slightly lower than GLi springs would be all you get there. The 3.23 diff would be right (unless it was 3.27 which is stuff all difference anyway) the ED went back to 3.08 on GLi and Futura where the EB2 was 3.27 across the board. Engine and transmission are no different.

The Ed Fairmont had 3:27 LSD and everything else mechanically was the same as GL. Had some of the ghia/usual Fairmont options like interior, cruise, electrics, etc ,etc
