Talking Got the wheels at last!

Just got the wheels on the 30th of Sep.
After a 5 week wait.
Cost a bit coming from the UK.

Wheels: Team Dynamics- Pro Race 2 in high power silver 17 x 7.
weight: about 7 kg. hollow spokes(so thay say).

Tyres: The new Hankook Ventus RS-2 (huge side wall contact patch, thay look like race tyres).

Took some quick photos, its not the best weather and time of day but I'll send some proper ones later on.

Tell me What you think Ford Focus Fans? :

nice car you have there : My twin!

I like the wheels too, but I think I will stick with my MP3's for now. For a factory rim they certainly do have the looks, and dirt cheap to buy!

Is your car lowered at all?

Yeh I does stick like glue, its amazing how bigger wheels/tyre width makes on the road.
And yes the car is lowered on whiteline springs and koni shocks.
The breaks disk and pads are EBC.

Next is catback exhast.

sorry to keep at you about it but how low is it compared to stock? Just that apart from the wheels your car is pretty much the same as mine so its interesting to see what it looks like lower.

Hey man, the car looks awesome. Ive been looking at some team dynamics rims in these UK Fast Ford magazines, and there are some awesome looking styles available. The tyres look very race orientated as u mentioned.

We gotta organise a meet in Perth soon aye.

I think we might have to start a "INK BLUE" Focus thread like they have on the ffoc.co.uk site...

they seem to be multiplying in numbers on the forums...and some are getting some great treatment.

Perth meets. Good gracious, the club is growing! Absolutely fantastic!!! Dream come true to see thei growing!!! Nice car mate, very tasteful. You'd top it off with a factory kit, something clean and sublte, even just a rear lip spoiler. Very nice indeed.

And we're better for having them as part of the lifeblood of our club. I love it that there's a little diversity in the club rather than just one make and model, we have multiple models. Good for the club and for people with different needs!

I stand corrected. Tim had his lights and we both had clear indicators.

About the only redeeming feature of those tyres is their looks when blacked up. Otherwise an average tyres sports wise. Great allrounders for a family hack but not good on a sports hatch...

Actually my CL was modified, thanks Matt! I had my tail lights, and my clear side indicators, from memory.

I'll chase up some pics soon!

SOmeone mentioned before about the club getting better with the new Foci....

We will need a sub-club. Not eurofordclub, it will have to be SouthAfricanFordClub.

not a nice ring to it really....

In all seriousness, many of the eskies here are Aussie assembled and we settled on European based vehicles, mainly those designed/engineered and originally manufactured there. That covers the new Focus.

We met in a park because we were expecting more people. ended up being a quick photoshoot, a Maccas lunch and then we headed off. Was a good afternoon actually. There were also ne Fiestas around at that time, they hadn't been born yet. I'm sure if there were some we'd have met somewhere more suitable to cater for them... like a women's gym or near a hairdressing salon or something. :
