hey just take off a rear muffler, if its a sedan, u should have the ;
*exhaust manifold *catalytic converter *small straight through muffler *finally a large muffler down the back. just take off the big one and weld some pipe in its place. at idle you hear nothing much at all. but stab the foot to about 3000-4000rpm's and it growls, plus u get the gurgling when you deselerate!!!! cheap and easy, i havent been picked on by the coppers for it, and i have been pulled over many times, for breathos and licence checks, and roadworthies. also with a set of wildcat extractors, its no louder, but alot more powerful!! have fun

i run a set of lukey extractors and a 2.5 inch system with one central muffler, and its a good compromise between sound and performance, you dont hear it pottering around but when you get over 2500rpm it growls fairly loud

I would recommend Pacemaker Competition extractors, 2 1/2 High Flow Cat and a 2 1/2 inch exhaust, with 2 mufflers if you want to stay legal...
Thats pretty much what i have, except, i only have one muffler, and its extremely loud, like starting to annoy me. I will be getting a rear muffler fitted one day!!!

there is a place in ringwood called performance exhaust (not much help though:( for havoc) they charge $700 for redback extractors, 2.5inch redback sports exhaust, stainless tip, and labour.

This is what i paid...
$190 for cat back exhaust fitted... and then $410 for pacemaker competition extractors... then $280 for highflow cat, and about $80 for fitting cat and extractors. When your getting your exhaust made, ask for a flange to be put in after the first muffler, just before the diff, so you can take the back part off if need be... It will cost bugger all... Cam regrind was $180 and $20 for shims. As for cams, when i had my ED motor in, i had a regrind cam from Surecam in Brisbane. It was just an EA cam reground. I managed 203.2 RWHP and 14.7 second qtrs. Now with the AU motor and a Billet Cam from Surecam, i am only making 217.2RWHP... Still not too bad though..
