Interesting read... didn't know much about these at all, these are definitely one EA that would be worth having.
What were the approximate slas figures for these things? I wouldn't imagine it being very much being hand-built and all.

Officialy there are 500 EA brocks, but alot of cars got Brock enhancement and no build numbers as they did not get the full options.

I've seen one of the Brock Fairlanes getting around Maffra (in Gippsland). They look tough as.

17. EA Fairmont Ghia Brock B8 'SE' / NA Fairlane Brock B8

THIS is a bit of info i found on a musuem site about the brock

Brock and GMH have just endured a very bitter and public spit, based on a mysterious little device called the 'energy polariser'. Brock Cars has called it quits after only 3 months of predelivering Lada pussbuckets. It's mid to late 1988 and Brockie's looking for a new gig. Meanwhile Ford is looking for tenders to have aftermarket suppliers doing for Falcon what HSV has been doing for Holden. Brock gets the job. Soon 127 EA Falcon S Packs, 18 Fairlanes, 10 Fairmont Ghias, the odd Falcon wagon, a Falcon ute (the famous Shannon's promotional unit), even a Telstar and Maverick 4WD or two get the master's touch. Typical mods included unique Brock designed 16" alloys, lowered Bilstein suspension, Genie extractors and twin cat exhausts, modified Recaro style seats, Sportline leather wheels, full body kits, colour coding and special Brock badging/decals. Power was up around 25%, and it was a tidy package....

It's a shame no one bought them. They were expensive. You could build the same car for less. But most of all, people couldn't relate to Brock as a Ford builder. Production ceased mid 1990, Holden and Brock kissed and made up, and that was that.

they cost around about 45 grand i think .
I have car number 126 . Unfortunatly being at the end of the line a few things were not put onto my car . However have made do with what i was given and made it all work. Been told the only way u can tell a genuine FORd brock is that on the id plate on the back of it when u turn it over u have half of the the HDT id plate. Brock was so doggy he actually took the HDT cut in half and pritned the ford thing on the other side
.
A fine example of what Brock did for ford

I don't think that is correct. There were several companies making aftermarket hotted Fords, eg APV, SVO (Mick Webb). There was no official aftermarket supplier before Tickford.

I did see a Brock Ford site on geocities a while ago with quite a lot of info.

It happened when Brock did the short stint in a Sierra. ??Just before/after the BMW??

There was one on ebay a couple of months ago for $500 IIRC. It was a tad rough (still better than some EA's still on the road), and had a Peter Brock Signature ID tag in the engine bay.

Guys, have a look at the website at www.geocities.com/brock_fords there you'll find lots of info on these cars that Brocky built.

If you want any further info or photo's just e-mail the website and I'll get back to you! And yes, I developed the website to get information out there about these rare Fords.

Get over it - these cars arent worth that much more than an EB XR6.

It'll be 15 years before values might look a little better - but really...
