Default What's the best polish?

I've been using Auto Glym super resin polish on the AU and found it to be a good product in that it keeps it's shine and is easy to apply.

The new F6 arrives next week and there are some new polishing products on the market that may be better, so I'd like some of your opinions as to which polish you have found to be the best.

I have recently started using Meguiar's stuff and it's pretty nice ... have also heard good things about AutoGlym and Mother's too.

Although some of your enthusiast/professional detailers will give you product names that you just can't buy off-the-shelf from your normal Auto shops.

Buddy you can start a never ending war if you open the whats the best polish, and you will get 1000 different replies from 1000 people.

in a nut shell it also as much in application as in the polish, so the tip is as you put your car care kit together adjust it slowly to try new products ( if you want ) and if you like it change that one product to your newer choice.

it wont matter what you choose so long as it is good, i find that by offering people the choice of quality products then letting them make thier own choice works well, if they then ask which one i recommend what i think will be best for thier use. here's a few that can work for you

meguiars next gen teck wax
megs cab wax
P21S cab wax
bowdens own wax

The steps and products I take and use are:
-meguires Clay bar (not needed on a new car like the F6)
-Auto Glym super resin polish (easy to apply and remove)
-NXT next gen wax, but you could also use a natural wax like cubana(wonts last as long thou)

I found out that these work the best from whats on offer from a regular shop, e.g. supercheap.

I use meguiar's deep crystal polish followed by a coat of meg's canuba then a final coat of meg's tech wax, after a pre paint clean or clay bar, depends how filthy it is. I don't mind the new turtle wax's but the chalkiness of the dried wax is a bother to me. Megiuars go's on as easy as it comes off.

l use a product ZYMOL as it is not a paint correction product it's a naurishing product for paint presentation.

have a look on this website www.theemotiongroup.com.

This is by far the best and easiest polish and wax l have ever used.
they also have a high end wax that cost over $1000 and thats just the wax all the guys in the US use it.

The megs clay bar is very easy to use, just like a bar of soap (just dont drop it), the other megs and bowdens own products are great too and of high quality

DOC from Themboys sells these online and offers great prices

You will have to make a special request for him to supply the polish sausage though

Ive found that the new Turtle Wax range (Platinum series I think) does an excellent job, im very happy with its results, although I think Autoglym is by far the best I have used...
