I just thought I'd put this up in case anyone can help.
This morning between 1AM & midday some worthless scum has stolen the spare car (pics below). Right now I'm just thankful the V8 was untouched : but they had to take the unregistered & uninsured one, didn't they. : There have been a few local servos held up lately. I wonder if this will be used for another one? They wont get far before the head gasket blows though, it wasn't re-registered because it has an overheating problem. If anyone sees it driving around or the dumped remains then please contact the police. (Yes, I've reported it stolen). Cheers. Sam.

If I were you I'd grab the bike and check out the end of Champman Parade and Grose Road. Keep your eyes peeled for battered tracks heading into the bush, it might have been dumb kids going for a bush bash.
Otherwise you're pretty spot on with a servo being held up or even other robberies. I'll take the pics into work tomorrow and get some up so the guys down at Windsor Police can keep and eye out for it.

Thanks for that. I went for a drive in the wifes 4X4 to see what I could see. Checked some of the local dumping spots & nothing. Went as far out Chapman pde as a sedan could go & didn't find it (saw a couple of other wrecks though).
If it was smashed & dumped it won't be much use to me anyway. I bought it for parts (some for me, some to sell), but except for the overheating, there was nothing really wrong with it. I just hope there are no innocent bystanders hurt by the joyriding, or worse.

Possibly. Recently discovered that there was a group of young blokes loitering on the railway bridge nearby for several hours last night. Perhaps they finally got bored & decided to take it for a joy ride.
Really, no one but the oxygen theif that stole it knows why. I just want it back with no one innocent getting hurt.

theres not a lot of servos up there so maybe print a couple of piccies and take them round and warn them to keep an eye out. Could be a two fold warning, firstly for your car and second it may stop a drive off.

Deesun is right. If a servo sees it pull up and then calls the cops, it could prepare them for a potential robbery and get you your car back at the same time. I agree with you though, only oxygen thieves steal property from others with scant regard to what they have done.

A car out front on stands due to auto being uncooperative..
Looks like I'll have to winch it into garage??? Waiting for it to stop so I can fit wheels back on and winch it up into garage so we can fit new auto and fit speedy sleeve on rear main seal....I HATE oil leaks..... Sheesh we have had some rain.. Sydney at least...Good though....

Thanks for the offers of help peoples. It has been found. Mt Druitt police rang me at 5:30AM to tell me where it was left (in a nearby suburb). They are going to take fingerprints from the interior when we get there.
Dunno what condition it is in, but the good news is it wasn't burnt out, it will probably still be driveable (except for the overheating & lack of rego). My brother & I are going down with his car trailer to get it today, so we will see what we find.

Happy Happy,
I guess the dropkicks at the station didn't have enough money for the train ride down the mountain.

i'd say check the head gasket but that may have been buggered already.
good to hear you got her back. and yeah that'd suck to have a spare parts car nicked.. not many people would insure those ;p wonder if they took the plates for future incidents ?

Well, it's home now & rendered temporarily inoperative (took out some key parts)
Looks like it copped a thrashing, but a short drive. There wasn't much fuel gone, gauge had hardly moved. Plates were not missing. Engine still starts but it now blows more smoke & is gutless so I'd say the gasket is now blown. Pasengers side is a bit worse for wear. Deep dent in rear door, smashed weathershield, dent under tail light. Drivers side rear 1/4 glass smashed. The lady from forensics tried to get some finger prints, but she said none were of any use. Like I said earlier though, I'm just happy no one got hurt & that it wasn't burnt out. Now to make use of what's left.

You're probably lucky the head gasket was nearly gone as it stopped them from getting too far away with it, or driving it to a place that they could have torched it/done more damage.
