Hi guys,
just wondering if u mite know of anything that fixs rubbing brakes. i have replaced the rotors and pads and i has done this since i bought it 15mths ago. is it common or how do i fix it?

It's common, and the most likely culprit is the nahdbrake shoes dragging against the insde of the rear discs. Only new discs and new handbrake shoes will fix this, but only for a limited time, when the sound will return. Easy way to test this is move off slowly (forwards at about 10km/h) and pull the handbrake on gently. Once the car starts to slow, release the handbrake and if the sound goes away, the handbrake is at fault.
This is not an AU only issue - most AUs, BAs, Commondores, Magnas etc do it at some stage.

sweet thanks man i will get them done, anything to take that away f&*^ it is annoying whwn u go for a cruise in a pimpin car and all u can hear is rubbing

I had the same noise after I got the car serviced, I got the hand brake loosend and its much better now, now and then I get the noise, but not as bad as it was, the hand barke was set to 4 to 5 clicks, now its 8 to 10 clicks.
