Hey all,
I have a AUII XR6 vct on super low's front ans Super super lows rear on stock 17inch tickies!! Question is, should i get 18's or 19's. I ask this question because i'm very happy with the way the car sits, and its height, which i dont want to alter to much. But when i look at the car the rims look a bit small. (i did a search but didnt contain what i wanted) |

Have a look through the Show us ya AU thread, aufalcon.com & what you see at shows on the Street etc & decide for yourself. There are no real advantages to the 19s & the 18s are a bit more practical but it just depends what you want your car to look like.

19's look in proportion on AU's imo. Have a look on www.aufalcon.com.au through the galleries for pics.

Im about a 18" rim max man, any bigger and it too much rim and not enough tyre imo .
And the lower the profile tyre with the bigger rims you feel the bumps/potholes more !.

19's are not as bad as you think ride wise. Get good quality tyres as well, my car rides, handles alot better with 19's than it did with 17's, it was all over the place with 17's and they look so small, i look at em now and i think God they look crap cant beleive i had 17's there shocking my opinion.

I'm going to put 19"s on my ute, they legal, in nsw, if you use the right tyre combo, but i couldn't find a tyre that would keep it legal on 18's
