Sooo anyone go?

I went today.

Was pretty cool, some pretty nice cars on display. Not many Falcons, I counted 4. There was a stock standard EB, just in the DB drags, Cadence AU, Phantom BA with a system and of course PYROAY.

There weren't as many cars or as much to see than in previous years, we got out of there within 2 hours lol! Was a record.

Oh and the chicks were mad too

I want to get my car going again and make it drivable now. Damn inspiration lol. Hopefully I can get a 'Autosalon Competitor' sticker in the future some time ;)

God the autosalon people should have planned things better. With the greeks at easter, then no WONDER it was so quiet than previous years.... :1syellow1

I haven't been for a few years, seemed to get worse and worse each year I bothered to go. The final straw was some 50 year old 'model' who kept following me and my mates around a few years back, eek...

How were the cars this year? Still all show and no go? When does it close? Might have to go down for a look tonight

Yeah PYROAY just got his car back from an engine rebuild.
I think he was on his way back from an all ford day and he blew something so got lots of work done, i think he is expecting over 400kw this time round rather than the 309kw he had before. If he is on thiite i'm sure he can clarify all that.

OK usually im ok with imports, but what the heck is that blue one? It isn't a r34 is it? The front looks like a new lancer. Confusing :/

edit: forgot to say that those ricer lights on the AU look alot better when its a custom colour!

Yeah there were a couple of commo's, have a closer look at that R34 thing, I think it was an R34 it had an R34 back just didn't look right, see if you can pick out the ford in it.

It's got BA headlights, well at least I think it does. when I first saw that car I'm like wtf! Is that a BA? I'm 99% sure the internals are BA, and 98% sure that its a BA headlight! LOL

Theres two Autosalon events a year in Melbourne... the first one was weak last year too. The second one later on in the year which is a semi or some crap was better. It's been that way for 3-4 years I think.

Want to do a E-series display later on in the year? We should do the Ford vs Holden show too. All cars must have turbo and clutch fan!
