I saw a pic of a BF GT at the Nurburgring recently but can't for the life of me remember what website I was on....
Did I see it here or has anyone seen it elsewhere. It was a Toxic (I think) BF GT or GTP |

http://impreza.fotopic.net/ It's just a photographers/enthusiast site. There are no details on the car, just pics. The pics are under the 6th, 7th, 8th Apr photo groups. |

I read somewhere that FPV was looking to sell their products in the uk, in a similar way that holden did with the monaro. Maybe they are testing the GT to tune the suspension for europe?

Can only be a good thing. Now all they need to do is let Sabine Schmidt loose with it, and then we can really see what lap time it is capable of.
Personally, I reckon Clarkson, Hammond and May would all absolutely adore this car if they liked the monaro so much, and I'm betting they would love the F6 even more for its better balance thanks to a much lighter engine, as opposed to the monaro's relatively heavy front. I can see it now; puget sound with the new XK, 550i and F6 doing a test for the best car, and best value for money. Imagine Clarkson planting the typhoon; "My God, it is just such good value for money"

Ford are claiming it is a private car. They have denied that any development vehicles are outside Australia.

Looking at the bigger version of those photos on the other site, it could be the stig driving, but with a coloured helmet!! I would suggest private definitely if they had only the driver with a helmet, and not the passenger!!!

A collegue took me from Amsterdam to the bottom of Belgium in his chipped and tuned Volvo XC70 - was quite an awesome car, well finished inside and fast as hell - he spared nothing on the drive and whilst I was in the car he clocked up 700ks and lived some miles from where he dropped me off. When in England it cost me A$125 to fill a mondeo that I got 650 k's out of so I am guessing that $150 to get 400k's from a car that wasent an italian or german supercar may not go down well. I know you can get economy from these cars ... but why bother and in the UK you can do 90mph on the motorways all day without much drama - everyone else does anyway.

A few years ago I spent 6 months over there, and really wished I had an Aussie V8 (this was before the Falcon turbos) to show the poms what a real car looked and sounded like, also to be able to drive it on their expansive motorways at the speeds they do over there. Would make the expensive fillups quite worthwhile. |

This thead has alot of BS in it...BUT...did anyone else see the little article in the latest Motor? Page 117 goes on about FPV looking at racing in the 24 hour endurance race at the ring.
Which would make sense as they would have a handful of FPV's over there with ZF, but you would think they would race a manual. Although, the XR8's struggled enough at Bathurst, dont like there chances at the 'ring, but it would be good to see.
