Ah nice, you got the MP3 wheels. What made you go for the 16" rather than 17". Did you get the 16s brand new from Ford? from another Fiesta owner?

I live at Dural NSW and work at Prospect.
Ivan, a new member here called bman sold me his 16inch MP3. Your 17's are nice but a liitle too large on the tiny Fiesta for my liking plus I didnt want to spend that much. |

Alright, that works out well, then. Moondust Silver Fiestas look great with the MP3 wheels. Did you get the ContiSportContact with them?

bru20vt- a word of warning...16"s cost more than 17"s when getting the tyres. I've got 16" MP3's and i just paid $380 for 2 tyres because the size and profile isnt common

Thanks for the heads up. Luckily the tyres are almost new. The alternative I had was to buy one new 15 inch steel wheel - $170 each and a new Turanza 195/50/15 - $155.

16" MP3 wheels ARE more expensive than 17" MP3 wheels though, I know that for a fact. |

^^ yep cause they sell more of the 16" than the 17" and they can capitolise on them.....not sure why, logically shouldnt it be the larger the more expensive, or am i just thinking like cause i have been conditioned by the media and conventional prices? lol.....
it seems that the 17" profile is more rare than the 16" for obvious reasons lol. ppl like 17" wheels lol.

The 16's are off a current model car the 17's arn't. They need an excuse the charge $1000 for the 16's as an option.

Well Ford must have twigged to the fact Fiesta owners were purchasing 17's as last week I was quoted $900 compared to the $680 amonth ago.

Even at the new price of $900, the 17" MP3 wheels are still much cheaper than 16" MP3 wheels.

I must be getting old as even with 16's the ride is noticeably firmer and turn in is not as quick as with the 15's
