OMG, did anyone just feel a earth tremmor ? . I'm here in Longwarry near Bunyip/Drouin/Warrigal and just felt my house rumble big time , 2 times , one small one , then a larger one followed, gave myself and my missus a fright ! .

Did anyone just feel the earthquake in Melbourne at about 8.55pm or so?
I know I've had a few beers, but I was puzzled as to why my recliner was swaying from side to side while watching the footy! edit... lol 5 threads on the one topic in 5 mins! Hang on for a thread merge |

Yep it got me in Berwick, the whole house was shaking, scary stuff.

Heard windows start rattling - then felt the couch and the house shake! I'm in a single story unit with a concrete slab - so it's not the foundations! I can not recall experiencing this before. I've slept through previous reported earthquakes. I live in Dandenong South - so South Eastern suburbs

I heard the possums in the roof goin crazy about 5 seconds before it happened. Scared the begeesus out of me. First ive ever felt, quite a strange feeling.

Must of been a massive area it affected, my missus has got messages from friends in Werribee to the west and Berwick in the east who all felt it
I remember there has been a few in the last 10yrs or so, not big though |

We sure felt it here in cranbourne to made this house shake a bit only felt the one tho.

In mordi I thought the roof was coming in. Lasted for a good 20 seconds here. Fish tank nearly fell off it's stand. No damage to the house that I can see.
