Thats good to hear. You will find a lot of parts on the forums really easy, and stuff like 2nd hand exhaust, CAMs etc also make good upgrade's at low costs.
Good luck with it all, Im sure you will have a lot of fun with it. |

Tidy looking car. I was in the same boat as you for ages too. Due to uni, my car remained as stock as a rock. But now, I've been working for a bit, and it has enabled me to spend money on mods. Hope to see it on a cruise one day

I'm a fan of the ED, and you havd a good pick up there! Back in January I found this car online, and got Mum to buy it! When I get my Ps (Or I'm 18, whichever comes first) I'll buy the car off her and look after it myself.
Rather than open a new thread, I'll show you it here: Sorry if the pictures are too large, or they should be in another thread. Cheers.

Basically I'll put in the whole Fairmont interior, with the cluster, the cruise control, the climate control, the trip comp, the door trims and the seats, after having soundproofed the chassis. Then I will whack in a iPod compatible head unit and connect it to some JBL speakers, and then I'll probably have a go at sprucing up under the hood with some thermofans, the usual intake mods, and for some reason, I am keen on those Optima Yellow top batteries. : At some point I'll probably have to do the headgasket, because the books sorta suggest it hasn't been done, and the roof lining is coming down a tad, so that will need fixing. So yeah, this car is like a blank canvas to me, but I'm not really set out on making the car good to look at, but good to be in, because that's where you spend most of your time. ;): Man I waffle on a bit. :P
