Ive seen reconditioned ones (genuine ford) as good as new prepped in 2pack primer for $140 odd, heres the link, http://stores.ebay.com.au/Just-Bumper-Bars I scratched mine pretty badly that it took a "few layers" of plastic off and has now got a flat spot, patch and bogged it my self but I'm really fussy so I'llbe looking at these.

Let the insurance handle it if she ran up your rear she has to 100% for all damage...

heres the story....

im driving down pascoe vale road, towards the city past the red rooster and im just about to get onto the city link jst before the bridge...for any of u who travel this road.

i come around the slightish corner and theres a un marked ve cop car, who has pulled someone over. i see the copper and slow down, i cant get into the other lane to go around so i have to stop...im stationery for about 5 seconds while cars are still passing on the right lane. she comes around this corner behind me, too fast and into the rear end.

i was calm and took it on the chin...but i dont understand what the hell the copper was doing there...pulled this guy over quick, on a slight blindish corner...

once it happened, i got out made sure the lady was ok...the copper comes over...asks me if im ok, then before i know it...hes in his car and gone...

it was really a poor display by the police officer. i was a bit dissapointed...
