Hi, this can be closed once I have my answers, just want to know a few figures:
falcons to date, that is, since day 1 of falcon production to now model sales breakdown, so total XA, total XF, etc(including utes and panelvans and wagons too) I'm sorry if these answers are elsewhere, I've done a few searches and come up with nothing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

They said during the 50th anniversary that they are getting pretty close to 3.5 million Falcons made here.
I can give you a few total sales numbers for a couple of models. XK-68,465 XL- XM-47,110 XP-71,000 XR-90,810 XT- XW- XY- XA-152,609 XB- XC- XD-206,974 XE- XF- EA-223,612 EB- ED- EF- EL- AU-95,617 BA-130,894 I will have the other figures printed somewhere but I will have to track them down. |

Thats a fair effort by the XF considering its probably the most unapealling of all Falcon models.

I notice the BA did quite well considering the AU's slightly lower sales figures. Food for thought. The EF too did very well, but then again at the time it was all the rage.

It wasnt too bad. It only went for about 2 years. Eb series 1 was basically an EA.

The EB series 1 was in production for only 8 months officially, could be more like 7 in reality. On the other hand the XF was in production for over 3 years, so a longer model run than most if not all models. A list of annual sales figures would be interesting.
The 5.0L engine was produced in the Cleveland engine plant, which might explain the odd description although I've never heard it used before. |
