Are GM testing the waters by selling the Astra and what was the Barina (Corsa) as Opels rather than Holdens to guage Australia's reaction to selling cars under a different badge?

On the subject of Chev-baged holdens, the strangest use of Chev badges I've seen on a holden was on an Epica being driven thru docklands, by what looked like a Korean or Chinese uni student......

if for some stupid reason they abandon the holden name in favour of chevrolet i wonder how many would ditch the chev badges for holden ones?

I saw a VE SV6 with Chev Bow Ties on it today. I can see that in some bizzare way that the V8s have some link to the US branding through the import engine, but what about the 6? Is that made here? (Must admit I own one!) I have yet to see a VL Turbo wearing the branding of the company from which its engine was sourced!
